CGFR Fire Stations

Station 41

Station 41 on Murphy Dome Road was CGFR's first fire station. It was built in XXXX with volunteer labor on land donated by Ivan Vail. Mr. Vail was one of the founding members of the department and was an assistant chief when he retired after many years of service. The station has since been named in Mr. Vail's honor.

The station has been unmanned for a number of years, but should have two live-in firefighters starting October 2011.

Station 42

Station 42 is CGFR's main fire station. It houses two engines, two ambulances and a rescue trailer with snow machines and 4-wheelers. The CGFR Administrative offices are located here including the Fire Chief, Admin Assistant and three shift Captains. Business hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Station 44

Station 44 is located on Potter Rd and Becker Ridge Rd. Station 44 houses Engine 41, Engine 43, and Water Tender 42. During the winter months our inflatable boat is also housed there.
